Recent Threads Toolbar

I personally do not care for the new Recent Threads Toolbar, is there a way I can turn it off?

Thank You

It doesn't totally remove an open feature window, but check for a small triangle icon at the top right corner of the opened window in question and click on it, it should close the window.

Thanks but I was aware of that, what I would like is the real estate the bar (opened or closed) takes up.

Again it's just a personal preference but would like the option.

Actually I thought the same thing initially, especially within a specific sub-forum "thread" because it would allow more room for individual post text and pic content on a given page...... thus reducing page count per thread (?).

I do however find the "Recent Threads" column convenient on the main Home/Forum page, and somewhat useful on the sub-forums thread-title pages.

Just my thoughts.

I do a lot of browsing from my phone and loosing a third of the page is actually a problem. I agree with a large monitor it is passable but on a phone or tablet it's another.

Please consider using tapatalk on your phone. Many extra features are stripped out to keep the app lean and the right column is one of them.

I have that and since it is so lean I do not prefer Tapatalk over a browser. I would prefer the option of adjusting the screen to my preference.
