W = west as in western U.S. version vs. slight style differences that are designed for mid-west/eastern U.S.

Could be. Slides everywhere these days. My Grandmother had a mobile home that was called an "expandable" home. Put it in place, level, and two people with hand cranks would open it up to the full width, about the width of today's double wides. Haven't seen one since. This was many years ago.

I'm new here, but find it strange that there is a "HWH" for "HOT" water "heater" (why would anybody have that?) and not a "WH" for water heater"....

But that's just me....

Haven't seen that abbreviation in regards to RVs but in the construction industry a water heater is abbreviated DWH (domestic water heater).

go to the water heater isle at your local home improvement store and look. It just says "water heater". If you say it wrong long enough it sticks.

I.T. Acronyms

Being in the I.T. field, I'd like to share a couple that may apply here:

* PICNIC (Problem In Chair Not In Computer)
* PEBCAK (Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard)

If you're looking at the "S" inside an "arrow" design, that indicates an outside storage area.
