alien and the gas pump

all the people in the little town of Mayberry were attending the annual town picnic. all the shops and stores were closed. a flying saucer with two aliens aboard landed in front of the gas station. one alien got out and with ray gun in hand approached the gas pump. the alien pointed the ray gun at the pump and demanded, take me to your leader, of course the pump said nothing. three more times the alien repeated, take me to your leader. nothing. finally the alien gave up and returned to the spaceship. will he take us to his leader asked the other alien? he won't even listen to me said the first alien, he just stands there with his fingers in his ears.
