And then the house is only an accessory to the camping lifestyle - used only when absolutely necessary, like in the winter. Kind of like having a garage with attached house for us old car nuts. :hihi:

I like my home base but when it's time for a change of scenery nothing beats camping. Outdoors, nature, meeting new people with the same interest, the list goes on......

Funny. When I tell people I am going camping they always think I am setting up a tent (the way I was raised) and going to "rough it" as they say.
When I tell them I have a travel trailer they tell me I am soft and that what I am doing isn't camping. The fact of the matter is, the people who tell
me this don't do any camping of any sort. Not even to camp outside a store on Black Friday eve for the best deal. So I always wonder why they are
so bent out of shape because I am not roughing it like Daniel Boone. I have realized that they must be jealous because I am building a tradition in my
family to enjoy the great outdoors whether I bike, hike, fish, hunt, BBQ, make campfire pies, smores and as bigbird said, "the list goes on". I know that
my two boys (8 and 3) who have grown up camping will pass it on to their children some day and that's why my wife and I have made this a tradition.

I have heard is said that life just wouldn't be worth living if you couldn't camp, at least occasionally.

I tell my wife were closer to neighbors when were camping then when were at home. But it's a great way to go traveling, we love to spend a week with our Canadian friends one week out of the summer.

We love this life style. You can go out and meet differant people and make friends. We have some new friends in North Carolina and still talk to them on the net. So life is great. We love to take the grandkids also. I have a buisness at our home and this is the only way we can get out an enjoy life. Get a cup of coffee and set down and someone is knocking on the door wanting something. Not out in the camper. It is so relaxing. Happy Camping.
