Went to World Series of Auto racing at Thompson, Ct. Speedway last fall. In the camper area was a 17' travel trailer from the 60's. The only thing holding it together were the racing stickers on it. They were having a great time with their steaks and cold beer though! I envied them. LOL

I race small one design sailboats and at a party was talking with a guy who owned and raced a 40+ foot boat. The larger boats tend to have full accommodations and some time into the conversation I equated that to "Winnebago" racing. The fellow quickly let me know that he was the former CEO and owner of Winnebago. So I said no offense intended as I owned and loved our Winnebago, but that I wouldn't race it at Daytona. We have been friends ever since even though we turned in the old Winnie for a Jayco.
