Winter Party

An old Marine having recently retired decided he wanted to live somewhere isolated and off the grid, away from the big city and society. So he purchased a small cabin and some land deep in the interior of Alaska.
Things were great, he lived off the land, was never bothered, hunted and fished to his hearts content, but things did get a bit lonely.
One day, around 9 months later he was visited by a solitary man. The man was intimidating and looked like he could take on a full grown grizzly bear with his bare hands. He introduced himself and told the Marine, "I'm yer neighbor, live bout 20 miles down river. Don't see many people often, so thought I would come an nvite you to my annual dinner and winter party".
The Marine thinks about it a second and figuring it had been quite some time since he had anyone to talk to says, "Sure, sounds like a fun time, count me in".
The big man bids his farewell and heads back to his place.
The night of the party the Marine arrives and the old man greats him with a lavish meal.
After dinner the big man looks at the Marine and says, "Guess we should get this party started, better warn you, there will probably be some heavy drinkin."
The Marine replies, "no problem there, I was in the Marines, I know how to drink."
Then the man says, "Probably be some pretty hard fightin".
The Marine replies again, "I have done my fair share of fighting, I am not worried."
The old man says, "probably go pretty late into the night."
The Marine says, "I can handle that too."
Then the old man says, "probably end up being a lot of noisy, hard sex."
The Marine smiles broadly says, "Ok, I can think I could handle that, if that happens should I take the bed or the couch? How many people will there be?"
The old man answers, "couch, bed, don matter, only goin to be the two of us."

You Sir may be making the Mods a bit nervous! I always make my PC neighbor crack up and then tell her to admit it's fun to know somebody whose politically incorrect and un-filtered!

What? Me? oops. The mods here seem like great people, and I like to think we have outstanding members who can handle a little unfiltered political incorrectness. All the mods have to do shut me up is through some crayons at me and put me in the corner next to a window. I'll be eating the crayons and licking the window in no time, and busy for days....
So far the worst I do is having to put a disclaimer on my straightforward bluntness.

Unhappy

Haha. Guy I used to work with pulled that joke on me once. "Hey want to come to a party at my place? Lots of drinking, fighting"...starting to sound like a great party, until he said just the two of us...ummm no thanks, I'll pass.

Sea stories - luv 'em !

Here we go! OK Gunny (and WAGS) - sounds like both you Jarheads have been to Boogie Street in Singapore. Yeah, the neighbor was probably a sailor - but in USN; you'd NEVER find a Coastie attending a backcountry party like the one Gunny depicts without at least 3 or 4 WESTPAC widows. After all, we ALL know who guards the coasts, right? Your turn.

If there is no video or pictures, Boogie Street in Singapore, Olongapo, Phillipines, or Gate 2 street Okinawa, Japan... Nothing ever happened, nothing will ever be known.
Deny everything.
Admit nothing.
If they say they have proof, ask for pictures and blood samples.
Shift the blame!

Coastie's guard the coast because they are afraid of deep water. lmao. Tag you're it.

Only Polaroids Gunny - care to buy 'em before they're published in the Anchorage Daily News? Oh wait, what happens in Subic, stays in RPI. My bad. We REALLY gotta have some - uh - coffee - at the VFW, Eagle River!
