Let me update my previous post. Yesterday 3.10 I filled up this morning and it was 3.15. By 4pm my son said it was 3.20. So 10 cents in a day. Arrrrrgh!

Yesterday morning $3.15, last night $3.19. This morning $3.28. Glad I filled up yesterday morning. I probably won't let it get below 1/2 before I fill up again, you never know what a couple hours will bring.

This morning I got diesel for 3.54 in Texas. Just a bit ago in Texarkana, I paid 3.71, but that was at a Flying J, and they always seem higher there on the interstate.

I decided to cut my winter getaway short by a month, just in case the prices get out of hand, or supplies get in short demand. No telling what the situation in Libya is going to cause. I think that's the potential deal breaker for fuel prices.

In 10 years we all may be "RVing with bicycles, tents and sleeping bags. But dang, a big diesel pickup is sure fun to drive! Even if it has a carbon footprint the size of Bigfoot's track.

Diesel is $3.59.9 a gallon and regular gas is $3.25.9 in Fort Worth, Texas area, as of this afternoon. Prices climbing on a daily basis. Time to park the diesel engine RV and start some upgrades & maintenance projects.

gas is the equivilent of $4.83 per US gal. in Vancouver BC. I live outside Vancouver and 5 min. from Sumas Washinton and got gas for $3.45 per gal. Canadian dollar is par right now so we are getting gas in the States. That is quite a savings. Today I saved $33 on a fill also picked up a few groceries and saved there to.

MoparMan, that is because you are living in a tourist area. Skiers, snowmobilers, and fishermen are getting hammered in your neighborhood.

I have been tied up since last Thurs. doing a home and garden show ( I am in the security business) and I need to fill my diesel truck and have no idea what it is going for. I use FlyingJ. What did strike me was the number of farmers and acreage owners that approached me with stories of fuel thefts and grain thefts that have been more common in the last few months. I hope this middle east thing settles soon or we will all be pulling our rigs with horses and feeding them with the grain we..................!!!

We will be filling up tonight after camping at an isolated c/g for two weeks. I'm curious to see if it hit $4 here yet....

Just filled up last night and paid $3.69 for regular (some stations are already at $4 in our area). I just heard on one of those financial news shows that mentioned where $5 is the new roof, it will soon be then new floor We just decided to postpone our trip back east through Natchez Trace and Blueridge Pkwy's indefinitely. We will take a longer trip, just probably no further than 2000 miles r/t
