70 Degreen at 7:00am February 24?

This is amazing. I am sitting here in central Alabama with the windows open, ceiling vents open and exhaust fans on. And yesterday I ran both a/c's for 20 minutes just to keep them ready for summer. It was 76 degrees yesterday afternoon.

I'm thinking back to March 13, 1993 however. That was the last "blizzard" we had in this part of the country. While I'm enjoying the last few days, it will get down into the 30's tonight.

Waiting on March 13th! Winter CAN'T be over, but I'm ok if it is.

You would think with this warm weather I could type better. "Degreen"? I can't even blame it on cold fingers.

We will blame it on the heat instead. Sweaty fingers slip on the keyboard.

Crabby, can you figure out how to do a poll on the weather? I think it is a little odd this year.

upper 70's yesterday and today. Hope we don't have the unusual (for this time of year) gusting winds that we had yesterday!

Will be camping for a week starting Sunday. Predicted weather for our trip should be 60's.

Hmmm, looking out my window I see a fresh layer of snow, and looks like a little more on the way.

Does it count that it's warm inside my house?

Bob, I just opened up my windows. It was a little stuffy in the house. Heat is off.

I jinxed it with my bragging. Severe weather now moving into the area. High winds, T storms and tornado watch now in effect.

We have had quite warm weather for Feb, in the 80s everyday, have to run the A/C.

Front moving through today / tonight will bring cooler weather but it will not last long.
