Ya'll know "Travels With Charlie" was a complete work of fiction.... still a good read tho.

So is half the stuff on the internet but that does not stop folks from believing it.

According to what you read, the trip actually happened but John Steinbeck WAS a novelist and likely embellished it.

Thanks for the link, clutch. That was a good read. Steinbeck is one of my favorite authors. A man with common sense; a term we don't hear anymore.
