Our troop just had another scout successfully complete his Eagle Board of Review this week. He is the 86th Eagle Scout in the troop and the 47th Eagle Scout in the troop since the year 2000.

One more scout is waiting for his Eagle Board of Review and I helped out on a 90% complete Eagle Project for another scout today!

We just keep beating the national average in our troop all the time!

Yeah, you guessed it.........I like to brag on these guys!

Eagle Scout Class of 1975.

I've been involved in Scouting since I was a Cub Scout back in the 60's. My son is an Eagle Scout and a Professional Scouter, yes he makes a living at it.

I've been an adult Scouter from Den Leader to Council VP and everything in between. Been to Philmont, Seabsase and 3 Jamborees. Currently serving as Assistant Council Commissioner for Venturing.

My best friend growing up in the 70's and I joined the scouts, but it only lasted for two weeks. He and I were avid campers; we would erect lean to's, tree forts, or whatever we could get our hands on to create a station we could sleep on or under for a day or two during the summer months. We simply did not fit in with the scouts; I have the utmost respect for scout masters and scouts; it was just not for my buddy and me.

To this day, his family and mine will get together for camping, but now it's in these fancy smancy campers!

I am an Eagle Scout, earning the rank in 1971. I've been continuously registered since 1964 - 50+ years!

I have served as Assistant Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, and Scoutmaster for our local units. I've served as District Activities Chairman for 20+ years, responsible for Camporees and Klondike Derbies. I also served as the OA Lodge Adviser and Associate Adviser. I currently am the Council Activities Chairman.

I went to Philmont as a youth in 1971 for a 10 day trek. I returned to Philmont twice as an adult to attend training. I took my family both times and they LOVED it!

Scouting is a great program for boys - and a great place to volunteer one's time!

Good to see you are still active in Scouting, Scoutr2!

Eagle Scout 1970, 8 of us together from our troop became Eagles. Many fond memories of scouting, Philmount Scout Ranch and all of the Polar campouts. I was a troop leader and District Commissioner after I came out of the Navy. Scouting does work.

I'm a scouting mom. I have 2 Boy Scouts. My oldest should be an Eagle by next summer. My husband is the current Scoutnaster for our troop.

My son just planned a trip to Half Dome in Yosemite. We all had to get up at crack of dawn to reserve spots. Didn't work first try but a few weeks later when they opened up reservations again we got a couple sites! Now just a few more days wait to see if we got permits to hike it....

We are a high adventure troop. Canoeing Colorado river, whitewater rafting, backpacking, you name it.

Not trying to spoil boys with a trailer. It's just for the trip that us girls go with too. :-)
