I still own my Sekine SHS Royale road bike that I bought when I was I about 15yo. It is a sweet ride with double butted CroMoly frame, and DuraAce components. Top of the line 40 years ago, and still a great ride but the tires are almost impossible to find now. I worked as a bike mechanic in a local shop when I was 17-18, so know how to keep it up.
About 3 years ago I bought a Kona Dew Plus as so many of our rides were on gravel trails that were wreaking havoc with the tires on my Sekine. Love this bike too, and it is the one that gets more use now and comes along on camping trips, although I still like taking out the Sekine when I know it will be all road work.

Conflicted between road and mountain. I guess I lean towards the mountain bike. Bike of choice, and I really enjoy a well built trail. Trek 9.9 OCLV hard tail mountain bike and a Trek 5200 OCLV road bike.

We're kinda hybrids. A Raleigh and a Trek on the Erie Canal path that goes through town. Going on the streets is taking your life in your hands. Then there's the '91 Aspencade for the other times we don't feel like pedaling, but do want to take our life in our hands!

Both. But spend far more time doing charity rides - BikeMS, R4R, Tour de Cure.
Hybrids in places like Key West.

It's been too many years to really qualify. But when I used to ride, it was paved surfaces or nothing.

We have what I call entry level mountain bikes, Trek 820s. Really well built bikes for a variety of conditions. We chose them over road bikes because we ride a lot of rails to trails with crushed gravel. That's not bad for road bikes until you get to a section that is rutted due to wash outs. I've seen road bikes being walked for 1/4 mile stretches on some of those trails because of this. The trails are pretty well maintained but when you get 30 miles away from any sizable city repairs aren't being done on a timely basis.

Voted both, but started out on the dirt side, and have always done more of my riding on the dirt side. Do enjoy the smooth side at times, but with the way crazy drivers are it makes it tougher to ride the road. Usually group rides have been when I (we) have been on the road bike(s).
Like already mentioned, haven't had much time to do any riding beyond when camping. Do miss it, especially this time of the year taking in some awesome sights!!!

A Schwinn Voyager 2 hybrid and a Honda Shadow Sabre are my two-wheeled rides. I stay on the pavement with both.

I'm both but really prefer drop bars and spend most of my time on bikes with drops. Not so much a roadie any more as most of my miles are split between a Surly LHT commuter, Salsa Warbird and a Marin 4 corners.
For actual road rides I still have a Vamoots ready to go.
The only non-drop bar I own at this point is a fat bike with Jones bars but it doubles as my year round mountain bike.
One of the best parts of camping is getting to ride in new places. Don't remember the last time we camped and didn't have at least my bike along.
