We really like these chairs. Have used them for two years and they are sturdy and comfortable. The attached folding side table is very handy.

RE: Helinox chairs.

A. They do not rock. They are very solid - 320 pounds or so of capacity.
B. Drink holders aren't really needed since they sit closer to the ground. Just plop your beer right next to you and you're good to go.
C. W/ CCC so limited in my X17Z, having 4 chairs that weigh less than 1 decent 'typical/standard' chair is just a huge bonus
D. Aside from camping, I can take these to the fields when my kids are playing sports w/ no fuss at all. I love getting multiple use scenarios out of my gear

If I had a larger trailer I would consider a strongback chair. Those are nice and comfy too; but 1 weighs about what 4 Helinox chairs weigh.

The best chairs are the ones you are most comfortable in and is most convenient to carry and use. We bought a couple of decent quality "director" style chairs a few years ago because they have the table and cup holders. They are nice, but not nearly as comfortable as my cheap MAC Sport "Big Boy" chair. What I'm saying is that when looking at chairs, sit in them and try to get a feel for sitting in them for long periods. You might be surprised that some of the expensive brand name chairs aren't really all that great.

ok, I bought some heavy duty chairs that are comfortable and have some storage. I used them this weekend at the campsite and they are basically....perfect.
