That's the same storm that just left here, dumped 3 feet in the mountains.

Crabman - look slike we are in the same boat here in Northern Neck VA. The first wave is already here but no snow flakes yet. WX Channel says later on tonight...

We have pretty good commercial power here when the storms go trough. Hope we don't lose power. Our main heat is wood burning Insert fireplace so will not get cold with no power...

I accumulate a pretty good long pile of wood during the summer months each year...

Got my PLAN B going for battery power here just like camping off grid...

let it blow haha...

Stay safe Roy! We are not used to blizzards. Hurricanes yes, but not blizzards!

That storm is on it's way here (southeastern MA). We got about a 3" prelude of the white stuff yesterday, but this storm is forecast to dump up to 20" on us.

The rig should be okay where it is, but will try to get it into it's "winter" parking spot, that's better protected, this morning. It all depends on how icy the driveway is

It started snowing here in Virginia around 4AM I think it was... Real fine fine DRY flakes. its up to almost 2 inches here now and still coming down... We are in the 3-6 inches snow band... Suppose to snow until early evening...

I got firewood for the fireplace and plenty of hot fresh ground bean coffee... Gonna stay warm no matter what the power company does...

I used the broom to sweep a path to the wood pile and its all covered over again...

I just had to go out and dig out my heat pump. It was getting buried with falling snow and snow off the roof.
