I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I use 2 or 3 sticks of fatwood as well. The stuff has so much dried pitch that it burns with black smoke like a tire.
Anybody ever use a fire piston? I made one and it works. Very cool! I don't use it regularly just for fun now and then.
