Camping at Johnson Creek Yellow Pine ID

During the past five years we have been able to hitch a ride with friends to Airplane Camp in the mountains at Johnson Creek, near Yellow Pine ID. It is a unique backcountry camping area you get to by small plane. Somewhat primitive camping in a tent, clean pit toilets, hot water showers and Wi-Fi. Courtesy vans so you can run into town of 50 - 100 folks. Always enjoyed staying there. Anyone out there been there? If you have, check out the Johnson Creek web cam this week as the place is jumping.

Never been there..., but it is nice escaping to a remote area, even if you have to leave the vehicle behind.
