Camping Gnomes

Does anyone else have weird camping "companions"? We started out with our first Gnome --- Gnarly --- back when we had a pop up camper. Gnarly has been all over the place with us in three different campers! This year we added Marley (he is the moose) and our daughter's boyfriend brought us Barley (the beach Gnome) back from vacation.

I dunno about 'companions...

But we started burning citronella oil (tiki torch fuel) in a small (3/8" wick) inside the old trailer several years ago. The lamp was part of the stuff that unquestionably got moved to the new trailer.

Running a very low flame, any flying insects aren't around long...

It even doubles as a night light.

So, in this modern era of LED lighting, we love our little oil lamp!
