Considering buying an RV lot in Florida. Would appreciate ...

... your personal experience(s), thoughts, and/or comments. I have no experience with owning an RV lot, and don't know anyone who has. Just saw some ads and thought it might be a good idea. I would like to go at least as far south as Sarasota. Further south would be fine.

I have stayed at private campgrounds where I was so close to my neighbors it felt like a shared experience. I don't mind that for a night or two, but would never buy into a situation like that. Renting first seems like a good idea.

... can't afford luxury accomodations, and don't want to cheap to enjoy. This will be a middle-class adventure, or none at all.

What do you think?

Do the research, look and stay there before making any commitment. Personally there are so many short term lease opportunities in Fl. and such a variety of things to see, I would not want to be tied down to any one Fl. spot, but that is just me.
