You could spend a month in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and still not see everything that is, as you said, postcard beautiful!! I have yet to take the TT up there, although we have spent a considerable amount of time in that part of our state. I highly recommend the boat tours in Munising; 1 is glass bottom and you can actually see old shipwrecks, and the other takes you up close and personal with the Pictured Rocks--OMG!! Tahquemonon Falls are gorgeous, the fifty or so lighthouses, Lake in the Clouds, the Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point, the Soo Locks and Mackinac Island are just a few of our favorites.
