I wish I could help you and I both out by diverting some of that rain to West Texas but right now, even 6 inches of fast hard rain would flood us flatlanders worse than you east coast folks will flood. 2354 hopes and prayers for all of you that are in harms way.

2356 Come on dg, take some of this rain. And wind. And tidal flooding. And tree branches. And leaves. And pine needles. And the lowest barometric reading I`ve seen in a long time, maybe ever.

Crabman, send the rain, but just a couple inches. Glad to hear from you......where exactly are you in relation to the coast? The way the overreactive TV weathermen are talking, your State has had fatalities and power outages.....keep safe.

2358 We`re on the bayside of the shore which is a peninsula. So water on both sides with the eye of the storm just to the south east of us right now.

Good golly, Crabman....hang on! You are in the middle of this monster. I rode out Alicia in Galveston in 1983 and swore I would never do it again. Check in often.
