2471 FIRES IN TEXAS

Yes, West Texas is clear for now....the big fire (34,000 acres and over 550 houses lost) is east of the Austin area 400 miles away but there are others in central and east Texas. This morning our horizon was smokey from an Oklahoma fire. We're not "out of the woods" yet. We need a lot of rain.
