In 1814 we took a little trip
Along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Missip
We took a little bacon and we took a little beans
And we met the bloody British in the town of New Orleans

We fired our guns and the British kept a comin'
There wasn't as many as there was a while ago
We fired once more and they began a runnin'
Down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico

1816 wishes I could have posted the above. Don's just started to learn to play it on the ukulele and I'm trying it on the guitar

1820 reasons why Crabman wants to hear dg actually sing that song, not just write it!

If dg attempted to sing that song, whoever was within audio range would dry heave 1822 times.........my vote is a Mrs & Mr Healthi duet.

1825. I also wish I could've done that one. I love that song, especially when the alligator lost his mind.
