I don't know where the 1829 people you asked about are..........probably hiding from the heat. Its 109 in West Texas right now. I have already used 1830 ice cubes in my drinks trying to keep cool. Almost too hot to go camping.....almost.

I've had 1833 reasons for not posting today, including going with a couple of friends to the San Diego Highland Games, including throwing blue ribbons at the guys in Wicked Tinker, and getting the grand tour of the home one of the two friends I was with is buying.

After getting back from the Games, I walked my friend's dog (small horse, whatever) and I swear he had to stop and sniff, etc. 1834 times!

1843 - First wagon train. 1,000 departed Independence Missouri for Oregon. Could this have been some of the earliest RV'ers?
