You guys must be young..I never had Lego's as a kid. But I did have Fort Apache and real steel Tonka trucks. Not even any Hot Wheels in the 50's/60's, just 3685 Topps Baseball trading cards and plastic cars that came in cereal boxes.

3686 reasons I don`t remember the 50`s. One being I wasn`t born yet. But I do recall the 60`s and steel Tonka trucks!

The sad thing about all those old baseball cards (2 shoe boxes full) is that I destroyed a lot of them pinned on my bicycle frame where they made contact with the spokes...sounded like a fuel injected Corvette V8. The rest got tossed in the trash and I am sure one of the original Micky Mantle (or other) cards would be worth $3687 or more today.
