we don't have the transit tax up here like you do down in the lower mainland so it's only about 130.9 a liter right now. The city is talking about getting thier own transit tax added to the pumps up here though... hopefully it won't happen so we don't see prices of 180.83....

The pipeline would likely help. Make some money shipping oil to Asia. Our trouble is taxes... mostly a great evil unelected government body known as translink. They alone add 18 cents per litre to the price of gas. In other words I send them $18 every time I fill my Expedition for transit service I don't get since I live south of the Fraser.
