Crabman`s backyard campground

If I can`t go camping I can still pretend here in the back yard. Made a nice fire the other day.

I am very jealous. You have no snow AND you can sit on your deck area.
My firepit and deck are still covered in about 3 feet of snow and my chairs are in the shed.
Today in Minnesota we are getting up to about 45 degrees. Hopefully most of the snow will melt so I can see where the firepit is located.

We do the same thing here in King George VA. Got a nice square firepit from LOWES and has a bunch of bricks piled up behind it and off to one side making a wind break. We fire it up all the time here. I got some firewood that is too long to fit in the fireplace so I get to burn them here during the evening watching the airplanes on their their Reagon Airport final approach.

I even have a TV RG cable here to watch cable TV with from the house. I also have one of the LOWES patio gazabos setup with a nice swing and couple of tables setup under it. Nice setup to watch the deer come out of little woods and wander around at dusk.

I just sit here and do my major rocking and thinking looking at OFF-ROAD POPUP setup under a tree in the back corner of my lot... I have another firepit setup there as well and sit under the awning of the OFF-ROAD POPUP which stays setup most of the time unless some real big wind storms come through.

We have neighbors come around all the time here and drink good ole fresh ground bean coffee with us.

Crabman, you need to build a bigger fire so we Michiganders can feel the warmth from it

It would need to be pretty big here today too, 30 degrees and blowing about 40 NW.

We might hit 20 today, not counting the wind chill.

Crabman,

It was three degrees below zero this morning here in Erie when I was walking the dogs. No sitting outside for us yet!

Skyron, I hope that you can hold up under the strain. It sounds like a dirty job, but someone has to do it, I guess.

(I am planning for that someone to be me in a few more years!)
