Back when I first joined the Marine Corps after ARS school, when I reported to my unit, all the guys in my platoon knew I was serious gun collector and shooter. I grew up hunting and shooting in Northern Nevada. So they named my call sign "Nevada Gun" (NVGun). Then later when the .40 S&W round was introduced at the SHOT show in Vegas and Glock announced they would have the first production line handgun in that caliber, I immediately jumped on that bandwagon. So the "40" was added making it NVGun40.

Of course nowadays I rarely ever use my own Glocks as I prefer to build and carry 1911s.
