Florida is different than Ohio

Yesterday I'm riding my bike through a nearby neighborhood and a resident waves me down and asked me if I want some star fruit. I said "maybe, I don't know what that is". He takes one off his tree and we eat it, and it tastes good. So, he gives me a half dozen in a bag to take back to the CG. He said he couldn't use all he had and they would just fall to the ground and rot. ... come back anytime and take some. They really are good.

First thing this morning I see a dark blob in the toilet with only the nightlight on. Turn on the overhead and it's a small frog. This frog is quite a capable leaper and he evades capture in a paper cup several times. Finally I catch it and put it outside. That's not hard labor, but more than I care to do before the first sip of coffee.

Those kinds of things don't happen in Ohio.

OnTheGo, you are so right. Florida is warm and the entire midwest is a frozen tundra. OK, I'm done complaining about the weather. Enjoy your trip.

Great story, starts out with the fruit and then turns to the frog, and I am so happy to read the frog and fruit are not connected in any way. Because if there were I was going to stay very clear of this fruit.....
