Trail Mavens

Wow, just came across this new group for women from the DoItYourselfRV Newsletter called TRAIL MAVENS; their objective is teaching women how to thrive in the outdoors. Check also previous postings on this thread for more 'outdoors' organizations geared towards women - our role is so much greater than just guiding the backing-up of our rig into the campground spot or doing all the cooking and dish-washing.

And ladies ... just ignore those goofy men whose curiosity got the best of them when hooked by the title of this thread!

That is why my Chinese wife married me...solves all the above issues, with additional benefits. I can't see, in the reverse, joining a men's group.

Actually, I do all the cooking, my wife can't cook.
I use methods, not recipes.

She said I get to pick out the RV.

I told her she gets to pick the toad. She said she already had a toad and I needed to hop to it.

Hmmmmm.:face palm:

Revit, revit, revit.

I said we are going to France this year and she said "my King, where thou goest I shall follow.."

+1

In our marriage, we generally share just about everything evenly. Granted, she doesn't generally turn wrenches, and she DOES do most of the traditionally "domestic" stuff. But she and I can hold our own in either environment to a great degree. We both have our strengths and weaknesses and we have recognized and capitalize on those as best we can.

Maybe she thinks you are cute Seann and is faking it to get you to come over more often.
=======

By the way Seann, my wife doesn't read this forum, it's not in Chinese. Why would she look for a new hubby...she loves my cooking and she puts extra care into the cleaning and maintenance of the house and me. She figures I'm worth keeping happy. That's why I'm taking her to France this year, and a few other countries,...she deserve it.

Happy husband, happy wife = the Chinese way.

Well put. DH and I share the tasks - he encourages me to tow and is coaching me on backing-up, hook-up, and set-up. Conversely, he is very handy in the kitchen ~ gosh, that's why he has the outdoor kitchen = ManCave. Kudos also for the new truck with the fantastic back-up camera that totally eliminates the need to talk when hooking/backing-up, we just have to remember to do the hand signals down low so they can be seen in the camera.
