Freak winter snow storm
Enroute to Wisconsin from our home base in Reno one of our stops was Cheyenne, WY. Arrived on Saturday May 10 and woke up Sunday to;
With I-80 closed we didn't continue on East until Tuesday morning.
More in our Trip Journal.

Larry, did you have fun clearing the snow off the slides? We had to do that in Jack Pot last year.

Reminds me of our trip to Denver 4 years ago. 80 on Mon, 75 on Tues, 7" of snow on Wed, and 17 degrees Thurs morning. That's why I carry a plastic roof snow rake comes in handy, especially for the slide toppers.

Ya clutch, was 'fun' getting that heavy wet snow off.
Like Grumpy had a small rake which helped.

No problems I hope. Looks like it might have added a lot of weight on the roof. And on the slide topper to.

No problem Ernie. Once I pulled the wet snow off the slide toppers they sprang back into position. By the time we left on Tuesday all the snow (most) on the roof had melted.

There is nothing like following a snow covered camper down the hiway. It happens here all the time in the early spring.
