The ARCOs around here are cheaper too but it is miss leading. You have to use the ATM machine to work the pumps (I think about 75 cents) and you can only pump $75 worth. Then for a large gas tank you will need to do it at least 2 times.

So add $1.50 to say 30 gallons and it is 5 cents a gallon more.

Diesel and gas prices are dropping here in the south. The place I get mine was 3.779 today for diesel, down almost .10 from last week.

Still high but not the hit as elsewhere. Sure hope it holds to save us some $$$ this summer.

I have not seen any decrease in fuel prices at the pump even though drilling and recovery of oil here in the U.S.A. is up several % points- Seems only oil corporation profits have risen again- JMHO- DD

Unfortunately drill baby drill only works if the product stays within this country. The only way that would happen is by government intervention. As a staunch capitalist I can't endorse more government control over the so-called free market. So ultimately, our gas prices will be determined by how much every other country is willing to pay for it.

Gas prices here have been steadily going up for the past month. I guess they are getting ready for Memorial Day.

$2.92 for regular and $3.14 for premium in Alvin, TX yesterday. Glad I had the wife's Acura because it saved me $0.32 a gallon.
