Spent the morning with hitch warranty work, and drove as far as North Platte, Ne., where we are overnighting at Camp WalMart. There are three other Jayco's parked here along with a couple other rv's. We head to Golden Colorado tomorrow

Golden Colorado.. Home of Coors! :)

We spent three days in Golden, Co. Got to see where Buffalo Bill was buried up on Look Out Moutain (what a view)! Historic downtown was neat and we enjoyed the museum and a bison burger on Clear Creek. But the tastiest part was the three glasses of different Coors beer that we got to try after the Coors tour! Yummy. I had no idea they made so many brands of beer! One I tried was pumpkin beer (it doesn't taste like pumpkin though!). This stop is where I took that lightening pic (posted in another thread)

It's been a fun trip. After three nights in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, we drove to Las Vegas for 5 nights. Can't believe this past two months have gone by so fast! Tomorrow, we head back to the California. We will stay at our daughters "Camp Driveway" and let the kids 'camp' tomorrow and Saturday with us. We finally get home Sunday! It's been fun

Pics are Don blowing the Alp Horn at the Oktoberfest in Glenwood Springs, Co. And the other when we rode our bikes on the bike path skirting the Colorado river. Pretty kewl to watch all the kayak/rafters too.
