We actually had a couple of members here a few years back who ordered their new Jayco minus any factory decals. They had to pay to keep the decals off... but I can't remember how much. LOL... you'd think it would be free to save the decal person time not to adhere them in the first place LOL

Looks nice... your info can help others who need to remove old decals to add new

Thanks for the comments / question.....I decided to remove them as a matter of personal taste. The 154BH is a small TT and with name / logo graphics on all four sides I thought it looked like a rolling billboard.

Did you remove all the Volvo logos off your TV too? While advertising is the name of the game, the liberty some manufacturers have taken has literally defaced the entire side of the trailer with logos and/or model names in huge block letters. It makes the rig look like one big traveling billboard. It looks terrible. The manufacturer gets free advertising plus, you're paying for it as it's rolled into the purchase price. It's irritating- just like the dealer advertising that gets applied to a vehicle just before delivery.

I would have if it had as many as my TT!!!!....but alas, just a badge on the front and name on the back....the dealer advertising came off after I got it home. Great dealer, but they didn't own the car anymore. If anything, the bank should have put a sticker on it!

Some of the Sprinter conmversion companies have take that to its illogical conclusion. I can't imagine how they think that it looks good at all. So much for European styling.

WOW...maybe a better name would be "ERROR"...that's a tacky decal job for a rig that cost as much as a house.

I posted about this a few months ago. I am going to take off those same decals. I don't mind if the Jayco name is on the trailer but I just don't care for that particular decal. If they wanted to send me a nice "Jayco" sticker I would put on in the top left corner instead of the right. It just makes more sense to have the Manufacturer name before the model name.

BTW - I experimented with (3) "goo" removers.....GOO GONE, Bug and Tar Remover (GUNK Product), and LIFT-OFF (Motsenbocker's Product)

#1 Lift-Off - Citrus Oils and Alcohol Based
#2 Goo Gone - Citrus Based (close second)
#3 Bug & Tar Remover - Petroleum Based (distant third)

I mostly used GOO GONE

I also forgot...my heat gun was overkill, a blow dryer will do fine.

GooGone is what I use. Our TT dealer placed 4 (yes 4) hard plastic dealer name plates as advertising basically on all corners of our TT. First mod I did was to remove 2 of them, left the other 2 because the dealer was great to work with so I dont mind a little advertising for them.

Cool. There's a couple of dealer logos I'd like to get rid of on the TT and while I'm at it, may as well do the TV too. Thanks for the info!
