I wouldn't venture out here in Vegas on New Years on a bet! People are setting off fireworks and Max doesn't like it one bit so I've got a dog to comfort )

Same here except I've got 5 cats to soothe. Also have to deal with it on 4th of July and any time there is a football game. Neighborhood sounds like a war zone and the cats are usually burrowed in the back of a closet or under the bed for hours....

We went camping, and had a terrific time. The Jayco stayed bundled up in the driveway, we rented a yurt @ our favorite Provincial Park. Arrived Friday afternoon, came home Monday ..... would have never known it was the end of December, weather was mild ( to bad, a nice blanket of snow would have been really nice)

We spent the weekend on the Vegas Strip. The 5 minute fireworks show by the several casinos was short but the "Tower of Fire" was cool looking.
