I apologize for being a bad neighbor

Yeah - this time it was *us*.
We were the bad neighbors at the campground.


We were all in a group, a rafting getaway for Special Needs kids and we ran the generator way too late into the night. The campground had no power, and we were the only one with a generator.

So we powered Movie Night. A sheet hanging down from the awning was our screen, and an inexpensive DVD player and projector played Star Wars IV for the kids. The microwave made enough popcorn quickly to keep 'em all happy.

So that was us.
Thank you -- all -- for not saying anything. And for letting us be noisy far too late into the night.


The kids all had a wonderful time.

Personally, I don't mind that kind of noise. It's the loud, foul mouth drunks I dislike.

Hey, you do what you have to do. We lost power in Georgia once at Stone Mountain. Whole park and then some was out. My youngest was an infant and temps were near 100. I had no generator with me that trip, so just ran the truck and had a fan running off of its inverter.

I commend you for making things good considering the circumstance. Heck I'd have joined you.
