I Feel Sorry for Tent Campers Today

Today in Moab and the surrounding area, winds are blowing at a steady 20 to 30 mph, with gusts 55-60 mph. My poor 26BH is sure bouncing around.

I've considered moving to a low spot to get out of the wind, but I don't think towing this box around today would be a wise thing to do.

I can just imagine what all those tents down in the Sand Flats Campground are looking like right now.

We are having some gusty winds up into the high 30's with sustained winds at 25mph+. Been like this since Friday at least. I don't remember it being this windy last year! The tent people have really anchored down their tents and so far no one has blown away

Well, I'm pretty much alone here in the National Forest, no tents, trailers or other campers within a mile or so.

Although, there have been quite a few bear hunters running around with their bear-chasing dogs.

Man, I hope all this cracking and popping my trailer is doing in this wind isn't causing harm. I'll have to check out the roof real good as soon as I can. And maybe look at the frame for cracks.
