ice fishing trailer

We looked at a few Wildwood TTs at the RV show this weekend (Jayco dealer didn't have any Flight's over 26' at the show) and I ran across this ice fishing trailer on the Forest River's site...that's pretty cool!

My nephew had one for several years and loved it. Used it quite a bit on the frozen lakes in MN. It was a pretty cool unit, had some creature comforts, no bathroom or toilet. But it sure beats sitting on the lake in a plywood house. They ended up trading it in after 3 yrs once they started having kids and wanted to travel around the state in the summer.

Man, I sure hope it is lightweight and the ice is frozen solid!

From The Indiana DNR-4" ice is safe for humans. 6" of ice for ATV's/snowmobiles, 8" of ice for your car. 12" of ice for an Abrams tank.. I made that last one up.

Most of the RV dealers in my area of WI stock similar units. They seem to sell pretty well. I often see dozens of them in stock every fall. Not real cheap, especially when you factor in the specialized use and how many weekends you could fish each winter. Better REALLY like ice fishing!
