If a tree falls........

On your house, do you cancel the camping plans for the weekend? In my case, yes. Lots of holes in the roof, broken trussess. At least it is insured. And most important, it didn't land on the camper!

If you are serious about going camping I would get the tree off the roof and then tack some tar paper over any holes to keep any possible rain out. Your insurance will pay for the repairs but you need to protect the house from any possible additional damage, like water.
