Yes, Healthi and Chipper, it's Groom. There must be a lot of RV traffic on that road. We were on our way from Cincinnati to Las Vegas, with a 2-day stop at Grand Canyon NP.

That was a long trip, So Cal to Milwaukee, it still is, but I know what you mean.

I grew up 40 miles from there on Hwy 66.

I drove past that once! And I knew it was Texas as soon as I saw it. Isn't there a giant cross standing along that stretch of highway too?

Yes, about 2 miles west of the water tower is the 19 story tall cross on I-40 (old Route 66)
