If it was possible, the rain would already be on the way to you. We have had so much that you can almost hear the grass growing. I mow 3 1/2 acres every weekend, and it's usually at least two inches tall when I mow it.

We've been blessed here in Ohio. Rain about 2-3 times a week, but no flooding.
1st year I can remember not watering grass this late in the year.
After being out West and seeing the drought areas and fire danger, we appreciate the water.

Too much of anything is bad, but we've been lucky here.

Living in CA summer rain is so foreign to me, lately winter rain has been pretty scarce too. We certainly use some, we'll actually rain is just wasted here we need snow pack so that water can be managed the rest of the year.
