Now that`s waterfront (or waterback)

Even when I`m camping I still look at water all weekend long! Purple water? No, new camera!

Work or play, Crabman is near the water every day. How lucky.

I know, if I did something right, it would by accident!

On the Eastern Shore of Va, near Sanford. Only about 20 miles from my house so good for a quick getaway. We usually go there 2 or 3 times a year, including their Halloween themed weekend. Most of the sites are not waterfront, but they are nice as well.

Bob, the CG is pretty large and has many more wooded sites then waterfront. We`ve stayed in the woods also. If I turned the camera around away from the water you would see the pines.

Two sites away from me there was a 5er from which two teenage boys came over to visit us when we got set up. They said I should take my awning in at night because a few days ago a T-storm came through during the night and their awning got badly damaged. On The trailer beside them the awning completely broke loose and blew over the roof, damaging some of the vents, etc. I thanked them and said that sounds like good advice. Of course I already knew how fast and bad our T storms can be, especially with an open site like this exposed to the wind so I would roll up the awning anyway at night or when leaving. But they found out the hard way how these T storms can destroy an awning.
