OMG what I saw this past weekend!

We were out camping at a county park on the Westside of the cities this past weekend. Friday evening about dusk I took the dog for a run (I ride the bike and she runs). As we were approaching one of the campsite loops I noticed someone was having a campfire. No big deal, it was a nice reasonable size fire. From my angle it appeared the fire was very close if not under the awning. As we ran past. I thought, that fire is under the awning, naw it could not be. But the little drip edge skirt was waving in the heat waves on that end of the awning. We went around again, this time I slowed down a bit, and looked. Yep, the fire still looks to be under the awnings edge. I decided to find the other end of that loop and come past from another direction and look. Yep. That fire was under their awning. I thought about stopping, but I decided not to. We went for our runs the next two days and the awning was closed and never re opened. I wonder if they melted it.

OOps....Well I guess that would keep the fire from going out if it rained

Perhaps they were doing flammability tests on the awning. Or is it inflammability tests? lol.

Maybe if you get them really hot, on the verge of melting, then roll them up fast they will stick together and won't let water in when rolled up!
You can try it first!
