Camping World has an "Internet Only" sale going on and I thought the sale price on the Rand McNally TripMaker RVND 7710 GPS was pretty good. What makes it a good deal is that you also get the "Lifetime Maps" included after sending in the coupon card...., still less expensive than the bundled 7710 model.

It does look good, Bob. It would be nice to see how "friendly" it is to the user.

Well, I purchased one so I'll report back on how "user friendly" it is once I log a few hours with it. I checked around different RV forums and the product seems to a love/hate following.., but I found that to be true even with hiking GPS's

I ordered the 7710 from Camping world and they canceled the item saying it was "Sold Out" and thier supplier could not get anymore of them.

Guess with the new 7720 model coming out to replace the 7710 there are no more of the old ones available.

If that's the case, then CW better remove the statement on their website that says:

I think you are trying to order the wrong Rand McNally 7710 GPS version, or CW is offering you the wrong unit .........,

The CW Item #65122 isn't the same Rand McNally 7710 GPS "packaged" model that I referenced in my original post. Rand McNally originally packaged the 7710 GPS two ways; One without the lifetime maps (CW Item # 58048), and the other 7710 GPS package (bundle) which included lifetime maps (CW Item #65122).

The CW internet sale is on CW Item #58048, but they are "adding" the lifetime maps "FREE" after you mail in the special card within a given time period (referenced in RED print on the sale web page).

Well, the Rand McNally 7710 was delivered today, then spent the next hour downloading updates (easy process). I did play around with it for a little while and found it easy to work with. The RV related travel features are nice to have at your finger tips.
