Once You Fulltime You Can't Go Back

I am visiting my daughter and her family for Christmas and my SIL's aunt is here also and they only have one spare bedroom, Sooooooooo guess who gets the motor home in the driveway? Honestly I don't mind a bit since it is quite out here and it gives me time to compare this diesel pusher to my Designer. I'm close enough to the house that their WiFi works great also.

The Designer wins. If for no other reason I have more room and the lack of a bedroom slide makes that room so tiny here.

But there is a Keurig coffee maker out here and I brought my own favorite flavor so I'm good to go.

Sounds good Ed, you have your own space and you get some away time.

Hope you have a great holiday with family.

We are in Cartersville GA this morning, will be leaving shortly heading to Pigeon Forge TN.

It is cold but no frost, low about 34 degrees.

We always carry a 50-foot long HD 10-gauge (10-3) extension cord and a RV30A-15A 18-ling long adapter just for this reason to hookup when visiting folks with our 30A RV trailer. Just plug-in to their garage 120VAC receptacle and you are good to go.

Its funny but most of the folks end up sitting in the trailer visiting more than they do in their living room haha...

Our RV Trailer has come in very handy many times doing this as well as a good place to stay when the power goes off at home.

When our children and grandchildren visit we usually stay in the RV and let them have the house. It gives them some privacy and us old folks an opportunity to sleep in. Our unit is too far from the house to have shore power, so we run our Kipor 3000 for heat and lights. The grandchildren usually opt to spend the night with us in the RV. Makes for a fun time.

It is a shame I didn't know you were in Cartersville this morning Rob. I'm in Dallas, GA. We could have shared a cup somewhere.

Have a great time up that way. I'm leaving here Saturday morning going back to my home base in Alabama. I am in GA visiting with my daughter and her family.
