Opinions on supplemental Heater

Wave 8 cat heater. Done some checking and it sounds good. A little expensive but neighbor has one and swears by it. Any other opinions out there. Thanx

I have a big buddy cat heater.. can use it either wired in or from 1 lb bottles..

Not really trying to solve any problems but to get something that will be more efficient with the propane than the RV furnace. Read the the rv furnace only is about 60 percent efficient. I was told that the wave 8 was close to 100 percent efficient. In this day and age don't need to throw money out the window. I know that it would take a long time to get back the initial investment of the cost of buying it.

If you camp with electric hookups, I would suggest a $20 electric heater... That's what we use, rather than burn away propane.

We use a Big Buddy that is plumbed into the propane system. We absolutely love it. Better heat and cheaper if you have to pay for electricity.

Use a ventless propane heater in our houseboat plumbed to a 20lb tank ourside. Also have and use a Mr Heater in boat and occasionally in the camper if boondocking and wanting to augment on board furnace and save on battery. Just be careful as these heaters have open flame ceramic burners that can be problems if you have pets and kids.
