My Dad US Army 8th Armored Division 1942-1946, only 5 left from his division today.
My Son US Army 62nd Transporation Division - Deployed to Afganistan until 10/11.

From 8yrs old my son used to spend hours talking to his grandfather about the Army. They used to go over his silver and bronze star letters and all his pins and patches. So you never know what kind of an impression your time leaves on someone.

Joined the Canadian military at 16 years of age (I was a Soldier Apprentice) in the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RCEME). I was a Weapons Technician and spent 13 years in a military uniform 1957-1970. I had two tours in Germany and was one of the first to arrive in Germany to supplement our Brigade when the Berlin wall went up in Aug. 61. Best year of my life.
