Post your kitty, doggie, or other pet

Since we already have a thread entitled Post your Mug, how 'bout a similar one for pets? Pictures posted should have the pet in a camping or travel setting.

Here's our Purrscilla resting comfortably in one of the overhead compartments above the bed in our trailer. I was fortunate to post this picture because had it been taken with Purracilla in the compartment on the other side, my wife wouldn't have let me post it with kitty all snuggled up among her "unmentionables".

Not sure how to post here, but if you check out our album, you can see our fur kids, Hansel and Gretel (Dachshunds). They love to go RVing!

It's easy to insert a link to your photo album in a posting; especially once you've done it a few times. In a nutshell, here's what we need to do:

Copy the URL (that's the http:// followed by some unknown length of characters) for your photo album into the message test of your reply. That's it! Sounds simple enough. I'll bet you've done a copy and paste within a document millions of times already. We're basiclly going to do the exact same thing, but between two web pages. There's just some extra steps we have to take to make it happen. Here's how:

When you read the instructions below, it might seem like a monumental task at first. I'm sure there are other ways to insert a link, but this is how I often do it.

By using either the Quick Reply at the bottom of the page or clicking on the Post Reply button, do this:

Open another browser window and bring up your photo album. Then select the URL. If you're using Internet Explorer, simply clicking on the URL should highlight it. Place your pointer on the highlighted URL, right click, then click on Copy from the menu.

Now, go back to the browser that has your Reply to Thread and place your cursor where you want to insert the link in the Message text. Above the Message text window, you'll see a little world globe with a chain link underneath it. If you place your pointer on it, a little message window should appear that says Insert Link. Click on that globe icon.

A small window should appear and within it, you will see a message that says Please enter the URL of your link: Underneath it is a text block that already has http:// (highlighted) inserted in it. Place your pointer on the text, Right click and then click on Paste from the menu. The URL (which also begins with http:// ) you copied now replaces what was in the text block. Lastly, click on Ok.

In the Message text window, you'll now see the necessary information inserted in your text that will link to your photo album. You'll notice the URL is in there... twice. However, the second URL is highlighted. Why? Because this is what the viewer will see when your posting is displayed. It's not used to actually link to where your photo album is (the first URL does that and it isn't displayed at all in your posting). So, what you want to do here is simply type a description for your link in place of the highlighted URL. For example: My Photo Album One note here: Don't try to position the cursor in the box by placing it there and clicking. If you do, it will unhighlight the text. Just begin typing.

You're done! (Well almost) You could click on Submit Reply at this point. However, I recommend testing your link before you submit it. Return to the browser that you copied the link for your photo album and end it. That should being you back to your reply. Then click Preview Post. Review your post and click on your link to ensure that it's working correctly. You should see your photo album appear in a new browser window. End that browser to return you back to your preview and if you're satisfied with how everything looks, click on Submit Reply.

Here is Breezi kayaking:

Old truck & trailer. Too much snow to move the new one out of storage. This is Hunter a couple of years ago @ Sleepy Hollow State Park, here in Michigan. Hope to get some pictures of him in/with the new rig real soon.
