Getting that way.

As a newbie snowbird I did some digging yesterday, prompted by one of my American friends with dual(Canadian) citizenship.

Canadians can spend 140 days in US in 12 months. If they want another 40 days fill in form 8840 (declaration of residency for non-resident aliens.

Now the IRS has different rules for tax purposes - over 3 years; yr. 1 days count as 1/6 days and yr.2 days count as 1/3 days and yr. 3 days count as 1 day.

So if you max yr 1 and yr 2 days, in yr 3 you can only stay 92 days in total.

The idea of 240 days a year for Canucks is caught up in a bunch of other stuff and is is even more unclear how it would effect either IRS or Immigration.

Anyway my head hurts now!

Superbowl being over means, I'll be able to drive without all the damn traffic ! They say tomorrow will be one of the busiest days at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix...YES !!

FYI I happen to live about 5 miles from the Phoenix Stadium....
