The fall weather seems to be setting in here a week or two early. We are hoping for a nice indian summer to follow along in the next several weeks.

Looked up my ex-wife on Facebook, sent her a note about bye-gones being bye-gones and asking if I could take her to lunch next time I was in her town.

Her answer was civil, typically Southern, but boils down to if your phone doesn't ring, it's me.

I did not know that adults could actually hold grudges for over thirty years. Just as well, I've been married to the current Mrs. Ray for over twenty-two years, and she's more fun than my first wife EVER was!

I get to 'solo' camp for 5 days (Don and BIL will join me on Friday). Breezi made a new friend who knows how to yo-yo! It rained all last night and this morning, so maybe she'll get her first lesson this afternoon. Breezi wonders if nambarc can yo-yo

Maybe when the little ones are grown up and out on their own... then you find it's too big without them?

Speaking of cherries... try driving through Gilroy, CA sometime. You can smell the garlic for miles. I love garlic!

Thank goodness for DVR! I could not keep my eyes open and fell asleep right after the big jet dryer crash....that was really wild! Interesting start to the season - should be a good year.....

This has replaced the millions thread as the official BS place. Post here often, and with confidence!
