Hey Crabby! YOu noticed!

That was from our trip to Egypt last Fall. On my bucket list from childhood was to see those pyramids. Amazing opportunity

Yeah I`ve seen it, along with just about every other war movie. Flying those B17`s over Germany was no fun.

We used to have the Belle here and it was neat to go see....there were some disagreements and somehow it ended up leaving Memphis....go figure....

My FIL was a navigator on a Lancaster bomber over Germany. I thought is looked like a B-17. Can a plane person sort me out?

Thanks.

It is now Thursday and the wind is still blowing in Parker. It's not as bad as the last two days but is still blowing. You may be enjoying it today.

Well I washed the whole trailer today. I have faith that the dust will not be blowing as the wind is a lot calmer.

The winds here were gusting up to 45. Knocked over a large water tank that was on the side of our tt. It shouldn't fallen but it had just been emptied it hit the tt hard done on the lower part behind the wheels. Gouged a good sized hole out. I'll have to get some pic. We will have to check the insurance to see what the cost is to fix it.

Lancaster was an AVRO product, built and flown during WWII by mainly the Canadian and British Air Forces. The Boing B-17 was flown mainly by the US during WWII. Both were 4 engine heavy bombers. Both were heavily armed and the payload capacity was slightly better in the Lancaster, but the B-17 had more guns, hence the name Flying Fortress. The B-17 had one large vertical stabilizer(tail) and the Lancaster had two smaller ones. The B-17 had more graceful lines in my opinion.

We watched some of the water ski races today. How about over 100mph on a water ski behind a boat?
