Star Trek was part of my childhood in the sixties. Still watch an episode now and then on Netflix. Very sad day. Leonard Nimoy was a great actor/director. Live Long and Prosper Spock, in your next life.

I will miss Mr. Nimoy, as I pretty much grew up watching him.

He will be missed. In the late seventies I was lucky enough to see Leonard Nimoy on stage when he played Sherlock Holmes.

To understand this question, you had to have seen the Star Trek movies No. 2 The Wrath of Khan and No. 3 The Search for Spock.
Certainly he played other character roles.

He came to M.S.U. during the seventies (while I was there). I had the pleasure of seeing his appearance, and was pleasantly surprised by his sense of humor. I recently viewed an old Rifleman episode, and was surprised to see him in a cameo as a bad guy's hired gun. Yes, he was much more than Spock! But that's the character for which we'll best remember him.

Thank you, Mr. Nemoy, for sharing your creation with us!

The tunic worn by Nimoy is being displayed at the EMP museum in Seattle this weekend.
